About project

The most riveting form of doing research will be the design of  the barometer of economy, providing information on the state of the economic cycles of Małopolska. During project time, a recurrent study of both the condition of enterprises and the investment climate in the region will be made, along with the research concerning the diagnosis of recent economic difficulties existing in Malopolska. The Observatory will become a professional unit generating a well-developed information base and making economic data available. All information amassed will be particularly vital to the increase of enterprise, the condition of investments and the employment market. Project fruition is expected to contribute to providing firm conclusions and recommendations essential to the proper development of the region. The aforementioned discoveries will come in useful for various fraternities having influence on regional economy, including : local authorities of all levels, public employment services, recruitment agencies, federations of entrepreneurs, the media, science and research organizations and, last but not least, traders themselves.
